The National Aging and Law Conference 2015 (NALC) is October 29-30, 2015 at the Hilton Arlington in Arlington, VA.
The theme of the 2015 National Aging and Law Conference is Celebrating Anniversaries with Action!
In 2015 we celebrate the:
- 50th Anniversary of Medicare and Medicaid
- 50th Anniversary the Older Americans Act
- 80th Anniversary of Social Security
- 25th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act
The 2015 NALC brings together substantive law, policy, legal service development and legal service delivery practitioners from across the country with a full two-day agenda packed with 24 workshops and 4 plenary sessions.
Sessions will cover Medicare, Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income, Veterans Benefits, Elder Abuse, consumer law, legal service development, legal service delivery, supported decision-making, capacity to consent, and other issues. The focus of the agenda is on issues impacting low to moderate income Americans age 60 and over and the front-line advocates who serve them.
